The Pirates of Halifax will be returning to create mayhem and havoc in our town. The Pirates will be roaming the town all day, you never know where they may turn up (maybe during a Historical wedding). This group of mischievous, salty pirates entertain throughout the day.

The South Shore Multicultural Festival comes to Queens County! This popular festival joins forces with Privateer Days to celebrate diversity and social inclusion throughout the region.
We have an exciting line up of performers including The Chinese Arts and Culture Society, The Maritime Centre for African Dance, Oasis Belly Dancers, Classical Indian Dance, The NS Mass Choir and so much more!
An International Market tent will offer crafts, cultural and children's activities, workshops, more entertainment and food from around the world. This is a family day celebrating cultural diversity, and it's free!

This historic exhibition will be held in the Town Hall Arts and Culture Centre. Local historian, Tim McDonald has amassed a large collection of photographs and postcards that show the changes in the community over the years. Photographs in the collection date back 80 -100 years, many of which have not been seen in print.
Tim will also have copies of his book, Queens County Nova Scotia, Photos Past and Present.
